AbstractDendritic cells are the most professional antigen-presenting cells to elicit T-cellular responses toward microbial agents and cancer cells. The graft-versus-leukemia effect observed after allogeneic stem cell transplantation strongly suggests that T lymphocytes play a major role in the rejection of leukemic cells.
